COMPUTER LITERACY Initiatives

Computer Literacy Modules

→ In partnership with NSRIT Students

  • We developed a comprehensive computer literacy curriculum consisting of 25–30 educational modules for high school students in Viyyampeta. The curriculum covers essential digital skills, including keyboard shortcuts, file management, email communication, artificial intelligence (AI), and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with eight modules dedicated to each Microsoft application. Designed to complement the computers provided to the school's lab, the modules help students build practical technology skills. The curriculum is delivered by college students from our partner institution, NSRIT College, who provide regular feedback on student learning and engagement, allowing us to continuously improve the program based on student progress and needs.

Laptop Donations

→ Nascomms & Globetops

  • Through a partnership with an organization in New York City, we secured and delivered five new laptops to the school in Viyyampeta during our December 2025 India trip. These laptops provide students with greater access to technology and allow them to apply the computer literacy skills taught through our educational modules in a hands-on learning environment. They also encourage peer collaboration, as students can work together while completing activities. To further expand the school's computer lab, we are actively seeking partnerships with organizations across Andhra Pradesh and India that provide laptops and computers to underserved communities.

KAP Physics Manuel/Experiments

→ Achaani

  • In collaboration with Achaani, we developed a KAP (Knowledge Application Program) manual featuring 11 hands-on physics experiments focused on electricity and electronics. The modules cover key concepts such as voltage and current, Ohm's Law, series and parallel circuits, resistor color coding, inductance, magnetism, electromagnetism, electromagnetic induction, and transformer action. Designed to provide students with practical, experiment-based learning, the curriculum is delivered by college students from our partner institution, NSRIT College, helping high school students in Viyyampeta connect classroom theory with real-world applications.
